DEVICE FOR SIMULTANEOUSLY MEASURING DENSITY, SOLID MATTER CONCENTRATION, FLOW VELOCITY, FLOW RATE AND TEMPERATURE OF LIQUEFIED OR PASTY FLUID BY ULTRASONIC TRANSMISSION PROPAGATED IN SAID FLUID

PURPOSE: To simultaneously measure the density, flow velocity, flow rate, etc., of a fluid by providing data processing electronic means which are coupled with two converter assemblies and a temperature measuring sonde and secure the management of information transmitted in the form of electric signals. CONSTITUTION: Two types of converters 4 and 5 are connected to a pulse generator 11 through switches 12 which can switch the transmitting-receiving functions of the converters 4 and 5 at every regular interval (equal to the elapsed time between two times of switching operations of the switches). A temperature measuring sonde 13 is attached to a conduit 1 which is in direct contact with a circulating fluid and electrically connected to data processing electronic means assemblies 14 and 15 similarly to the converters 4 and 5. The assemblies 14 and 15 simultaneously convert received electric signals into response elements, such as the circulating velocity and/or flow rate, density and/or solid content concentration, temperature, etc., of the fluid by analyzing the signals.
