PURPOSE:To increase the durability of a low-temperature fluid pump, by connecting a rod of a hydraulic cylinder to a low-temperature fluid pump, and connecting air-oil converters to the upper and lower ends of the hydraulic cylinder via respective oil control valves. CONSTITUTION:A rod 3 of a hydraulic cylinder 2 is connected to a low-temperature fluid pump 1, and the lower ends of air-oil converters 7, 7' are connected to the upper and lower ends of the hydraulic cylinder 2 via respective oil control valves 5, 5'. Further, a changeover valve 9 and air pipes 8, 8' are connected to the upper ends of the air-oil converters 7, 7'. Thus, since the rod 2 is moved by converting air pressure into oil pressure, the rod 2 and the low-temperature fluid pump 1 can be operated very slowly and quietly, so that the durability of the pump 1 can be increased considerably.
