ALUMINUM SHAPE STOCK EXTRUSION REAR FACE EQUIPMENT AND REAR FACE PROCESSING METHOD

PURPOSE:To form a shape stock in good shape without any flaw irrespective of an extrusion cycle by subjecting an extruded shape stock to the stretched cooling in high temp. time by holding it by transferring to a substretcher immediately and performing the tension cooling of the low temp. time by the stretcher with its transfer. CONSTITUTION:The aluminum shape stock extruded from an extrusion machine 1 progresses by being guided by a puller 3 on a runout table 2. A cooling table 4 immediately receives the shape stock with its ascent by advancing by an overlift transfer 20, holding both end parts of the shape stock by the claws 26, 34 of holding parts 10a, 10b before and behind the substretcher 10 by retreating immediately and cooling them by applying the stretch at high temp. time by a cylinder 31 to prevent the deformation of the shape bend. Thereafter, the stretched cooling at low temp. time is effected by transferring to a main stretcher 5 on a conveyor 4. Since the transfer holding is performed simultaneously with the completion of extrusion the shape stock is cooled by maintaining it in flawless good shape with its stretched cooling irrespective of the extrusion cycle.
