BUILDING METHOD FOR BANKING WHERE TUNNEL CONSTRUCTION IS PLANNED

PURPOSE:To eliminate a primary covering work and to reduce a term of works and decrease a construction cost, by a method wherein an arched ground zone is built at the peripheral wall part of a planned site of a tunnel by the use of a compression resistant banking material, and a number of second burying nets are horizontally laid in the arched ground zone. CONSTITUTION:A first burying net 4 at a first stage is horizontally laid on a ground 2, a primary layer banking material 5 is laminarily piled up for rolling- compaction, and in the following works, the above is repeated to build a banking 1. In which case, an arched ground zone 6 is built at the peripheral wall part of a planned site of a tunnel 3 by the use of a banking material 5a having excellent resistance to compression, and a number of second burying nets 7 and 8 are horizontally buried in the arched ground zone 6. Thereafter, the tunnel 3 is excavated, the first burying net 4 is cut for removal. Further, a compression resistant banking material 2a and the burying nets 4, 7, and 8 at the peripheral wall part of the planned site of the tunnel 3 can eliminate a primary covering work.
