PURPOSE: To improve the impact resistance of a fiber-reinforced composite by spraying a specified carboxylated rubber followed by drying. ;CONSTITUTION: One or two or more of carboxylated rubber latexes selected from among carboxylated styrene-butadiene-acrylonitrile terpolymer, carboxylated nitrile rubber, and carboxylate acrylic rubber are sprayed and dried to provide a carboxylated rubber particle having a particle size of 1-75 μm, a glass transition temperature of 15°C or more, a carboxyl functional valency content of 0.1-5 wt.%.
