PURPOSE:To attain the miniaturization, high degree of integration and high speed of a logical circuit, by constituting a current injection type OR gate circuit containing no inductance just with resistances and Josephson junctions. CONSTITUTION:As shown in the diagram, a logical gate is provided with 3 Josephson junctions 30-32 and resistors 33-36. When an input current Ia or Ib is injected to the logical gate while a gate current Ig is flowed, these input currents flow to an earth through the junctions 32 and 30. Thus the junction 30 is switched to a resistance state. A part of the current flowing to the junction 30 flows to the resistor 36 via the junction 32, and the other part of the current flows to the junction 31 through the resistors 30-35. Thus the junction 31 is switched to the resistance state. As a result, a part of Ig flows to a load resistance 41 and the rest of the Ig flows to the resistor 36 through the junction 32. At the same time, a patt of the input current flows to a load resistance 41 through the junction 32. Thus the junction 32 is also switched to a resistance state.
