COMPOSITION FOR REMOVING BACTERIA FROM SOLID SURFACE AND LIVING BODY TISSUE, AND ORAL DETERGENT USING THE SAME AND ADSORPTION OF BACTERIA

PURPOSE: To prepare a composition, comprising an aqueous phase, an oil phase immiscible with water and an amphoteric cationic ingredient in a specific proportion and capable of forming a temporary oil-in-water type emulsion only for a limited time by shaking. CONSTITUTION: This composition comprises two phases composed of (A) 50-97wt.% aqueous phase, (B) 3-50wt.% oil phase, comprising a vegetable oil, a mineral oil, a pharmacologically permissible aliphatic hydrocarbon (e.g. octane or decane) or a mixture thereof and immiscible with water and (C) an amphoteric cationic ingredient in an amount of 0.003-2.0wt.% effective in forming a temporary oil-in-water type emulsion so as to be broken within 10 see to 30min after the formation, e.g. a cationic surface-active molecule containing pyridinium as a nucleus or chlorhexidines. Bacteria on a solid surface and a biological tissue are adsorbed on oil drops of the temporarily formed emulsion and removed.
