the present invention relates to a process for regeneration of an additive for trapping sulfur.the aim of the invention is to carry out the process for an additive used in the preparation of a hydrocarbon fuel.this aim is achieved by a method characterized by the steps of: (a) forming an emulsion of oil in water; (b) to burn the ash so as to form an emulsion.the mbustion containing additive; (c) to leach the combustion ash and leaching liquor to form a containing the additive, and (d) separating the liquor.(e) to deal with the liquor with a precipitation agent to a base pricipiter derived compound additive; and (f) to get the compound derived from the additive.the invention applies more particularly to the additives used in the preparation of an emulsion of oil in water.
