An aq soln for prevention and cure of sicknesses accompanied by diarrhoea in newly born or sucking piglets and calves contains: (wt % based on total soln): 0.5-0.9 pref 0.55-0.65 calcium ions from water sol salts. 6.4-11.0 pref 8.0-8.6 monosaccharide of D-glucose, or D-glucose and galactose. 0.0045-0.0065 pref 0.0005-0.0055 histamine, and 0.7-1.0 pref 0.75-0.85 Nacl, KCl or MgCl2 dissolved with antioxidant in water.
