Waste products arising from fish breeding are removed, as follows. Thee breeding basin is provided with a close fitting, trans -parent covering. Mechanical cleaning is carried out by a cylindrical filter equipped with rotary washing sprays. Biological clean-up is carried out in the settler using vertical cylinders, with grids closing their top and bottom ends, having a common discharge pipe. - The nitrification equipment is provided with air supply and distribution pipes. Downstream of the cleaning, nitrification and denitifirication units, measuring instruments are provided to monitor usage, ammoniacal nitrogen, nitrite and nitrate concentration and pH. - (Dwg.No.0/1)
