The calibrator is an improved version of the calibration device described in EP-123320. It has a crank arm (2) which is linked to the rotating disc in the meter. The crankshaft (1) is linked to a lower support plate (12). The outer end of the lower plate is linked, via a pawl and quadrant gear assembly (15,17) to an upper reciprocating plate (5). On the outer end of the upper plate a pin (3) is connected to the bellows of the meter.
