ABSTRACTThe present invention provides various noveldiphenic acid monoamide compounds, novel pharmaceu-tical compositions and methods of use thereof, aswell as novel methods of synthesis therefor. Thenovel diphenic acid monoamides of the presentinvention are leukotriene antagonists, 5-lipoxygenaseinhibitors, and mediator release inhibitors providingactivity useful for treating asthma, allergies,cardiovascular diseases, migraines, and immunoinflam-matory conditions.
