摘要
Although the energy supply in industrialised countries is currently provided by fossil, atomic and hydroelectric primary energy, other energy sources are being sought on environmental grounds. At present, these are wind power systems and photovoltaic cells. With small wind systems it is difficult to operate them in parallel with the grid, and with photoelectricity it is almost impossible. There are admittedly a small number of systems which are operated in parallel with the grid, but in order for them to be able to work economically viably, they must have a minimum of 5 kW. This large power capacity makes such systems, despite their economical operation, unaffordable for the private user. Progress in renewable energy is, however, achievable only if such a system is also economical for the private operator. The electronic circuit described in the Patent Application allows the construction of systems with a power of 100 watts or more and would, at current prices for silicon cells, cost only approximately 5000 DM for 1 kW. Such a system operates completely without maintenance and suffers no wear. Since the electronic controller uses DC to generate the electrical power fed into the grid, and the DC voltage may fluctuate between 30 and 310 volts, no particular demands are placed on the electricity generator. It is an easy matter to convert AC, as produced in cheap dynamic generators, into DC... Original abstract incomplete.
