Reloading device for portable goods with a transportable container

The transportation of refuse in the refuse collection vehicle to the landfill site or to the incineration plant is very expensive, on the one hand, due to the low loading quantity and, on the other hand, the currently great distances. Reloading from the refuse collection vehicle into a larger transporting vehicle previously required great building expense which cannot be carried out at all sites. A preferably mobile reloading device is proposed, which consists essentially of a container (2) which has the maximum permissible length and width dimensions for ordinary road traffic. The longitudinal side walls (5) can be moved from a narrow transporting position into a wide loading position so that a plurality of ordinary refuse collection vehicles can drive one after the other into the interior of the container and can empty their load directly. For transportation, the longitudinal side walls (5) are squeezed together, the container (2) is taken up by the transporting vehicle and driven to the landfill site for emptying. The refuse collection vehicles drive only within the collection district. The reloading device does not require any building measures and can be set up at a site which is favourable for the district in each case only on the refuse collection days. IMAGE
