In shops prices are frequently set out in an eye-catching manner on price-label carriers which are made for example from cardboard. To this end, the price-label carriers have hitherto been printed with the particular price, it not being possible to reuse a carrier of this kind for a different price, or insert systems are used which have to be sorted through when changing the price. The price-labelling device according to the invention uses adhesive slips of paper which are provided with an adhesive substance on at least two opposite edge regions and are held flat on the price-label carrier until they are removed again in a manner which does not leave a residue. The price-label carriers are not adversely affected by the adhesive slips of paper and so they can be reused virtually without limit whilst the adhesive slips of paper only cause minimal costs.
