A method is described for calculating spatial field strength from measurements of echo signals. These have to be made on a phantom sample wherein the spin density distribution is known to be homogenous. The optimal sequential phasing angles of the HF pulses are defined. Also, optimal flip angles combined with magnetic gradient pulses and timing elements are defined. USE/ADVANTAGE - Contributes to realistic interpretation of test results, by avoiding distorted image of spatial distribution of steady field along z axis.
