Cover for photographic flash incorporated in camera - has min. transmission within wavelength range corresponding to flash sensitivity range

The cover has a min. spectral transmission within the energy spectrum radiated by the flash corresponding to the spectral sensitivity range of the photographic film, e.g. between 400nm and 700nm. An auxiliary flash unit (2) is supported by a handgrip (10) fixed to the camera body (3) via a horizontal brace (8). The camera has a photosensor (5) exhibiting a spectral sensitivity in the range between 700nm and 1200nm. Pref. the cover comprises a flexible foil or a rigid plate. USE - For blocking incorporated flash when auxiliary flash is used.
