The injection moulded suitcase, e.g. attache case, consists of two identical shells (1) connected through hinges (12-15) and closed with catches (4-11). Catches, hinges and the handle (2) are all moulded in one piece, together with the shell. Each shell has a hinge (14, 15) and a hinge locating slot (12,13). Each catch consists of a tongue (4) and a hinged locking tab (8) with a dog (9). There are additional tongues (20) and grooves (19) along the rim. USE/ADVANTAGE - Injection moulded suitcase consisting of only one moulded component, two of which interlock to make the case.
