The present invention relates to the treatment of PAF Acether-induced maladies. The treatment comprises the administration of a ginkgolide or a ginkgolide derivative. Ginkgolide B has been found to be the most effective. The ginkgolides may be introduced orally, intraveneously or by spray inhalation.
