The invention relates to a centrifuge, especially for studying the physiopathological effects of accelerations. It comprises a roller track 11 having symmetry of revolution with respect to an axis of rotation 1, a trolley 8 fitted with wheels 9 arranged so as to roll on the said track in a plane substantially perpendicular to the said axis, and a seat 24 for supporting the subject to be tested, and drive means 16, 17 for driving the said trolley over the roller track.
