The invention relates to a rotary display stand which is compact and whose construction may be relatively light and inexpensive. The display stand includes a rotary support 3 which is suspended from a rotary shaft 14 mounted in a carrier block 1 and driven by a motorised mechanism 17, 17' integrated into this block. The carrier block 1 also includes an electric control device 18 to 20 and it may be fastened to a ceiling 2. The rotary support 3 is interchangeable.
