PURPOSE:To obtain the subject remedy, containing human gamma-globulin as an active ingredient and capable of exhibiting remarkable treating effects with high safety. CONSTITUTION:A remedy containing highly purified human gamma-globulin, having =20 units anticomplementary activity measured at 5% protein concentration and exhibiting =90% peaks of 7S in purity as IgG determined by cellulose acetate electrophoresis without virtually containing polymerization type gamma-globulin and preferably any blood type antibody as an active ingredient. The aforementioned remedy is normally prepared as a pharmaceutical in the form of a freeze-dried formulation and preferably simultaneously dissolved in an aqueous solvent so as to provide 10-100mg/ml expressed in terms of proteins and administered by intravenous dripping, injection, etc. The dose thereof is about 0.2-2g/kg at a time.
