DISCRIMINATING METHOD FOR COERCIVE FORCE OF MAGNETIC TICKET FORM

PURPOSE:To surely issue a magnetic ticket having prescribed coercive force by making a ticket vending device itself discriminate automatically the coercive force of a magnetic ticket form when the form is loaded. CONSTITUTION:A trial ticket is prepared from a loaded ticket form 1, and the specific information is encoded on the trial ticket via a magnetic head 7 with use of a prescribed writing current. Then the encoded information is read via a magnetic head 8 and it is decided whether the specific information is read or not. If so, the form 1 is decided as a magnetic ticket form having the prescribed coercive force to the prescribed writing current. If not, the form 1 except the one having the prescribed coercive force is decided. Thus a properly encoded magnetic ticket obtained with use of the form 1 having the necessary coercive force.
