PURPOSE:To obtain the title non-halogen-type cleaner especially useful for assembly, having excellent cleaning power, satisfactory in terms of environmental characteristics, toxicity, smell, flammability, etc., comprising a specific nonionic surfactant as a single active ingredient. CONSTITUTION:The objective cleaner comprising a nonionic surfactant [e.g. adduct of pentyl alcohol with ethylene oxide (EO), adduct of heptyl alcohol with EO, adduct of nonyl alcohol with EO, adduct of lauryl alcohol with EO or adduct of stearyl alcohol with EO] shown by the formula [R is 5-18C (preferably 10-14C) alkyl; n is 2-12 (preferably 3-9) integer] as a single active ingredient.
