PYROLYTIC DEVICE FOR PYROLYTIC GAS CHROMATOGRAPHY

PURPOSE:To prevent a temp. distribution from varying with individual devices and to obtain the stable temp. distribution by concentrically winding an electric heating wire on the outer periphery of a metallic cylinder corresponding to the pyrolytic section of an analysis sample. CONSTITUTION:The electric heating wire 6 is concentrically wound on the outer periphery of the section corresponding to the pyrolytic section 12 of the metallic cylinder 5 having a good thermal conductivity and only the section corresponding to the section 12 is heated. The this heat causes the entire part in the metallic cylinder 5 to be heated by the heat transfer of the metallic cylinder 5. The other part is heated by the heat transfer from the heating section subjected to temp. control. The varying of the temp. distribution with the individual devices is, therefore, obviated and the stable temp. distribution is obtd.
