PURPOSE:To obtain an efficient production plan preparing device in which the number of storage of all the product group to the minimum by preparing the production plan for which the demand estimation or each item in a certain period and the number of times of rearrangement of the molding metal molds for each item are taken account of. CONSTITUTION:In an estimation simulation part 1, the sales variation quantity for each product group in each month is calculated on the basis of the sales plan for each product group in a prescribed period, and the sales constitution ratio for each item in each product group is calculated from the total sales quantity of all the product group and the sales quantity of each item in each product group, and the demand estimation of each item in each product group in the pertinent month is carried out. In a demand estimation constitution ratio calculating part 2, the demand estimation quantity constitution ratio of all the items is calculated on the basis of the demand estimation in the pertinent month. In a period calculation part 3, the optimum summary period for manufacturing all the items is calculated from the demand estimation quantity constitution ratio and the number of times of rearrangement of the molding metal molds permitted in a month. In a manufacturing plan preparation part 4, the summary of lots for each item on which the summary period for each item is added is carried out, and a plan is prepared, on the basis of the above-described summary period.
