JOINT STRENGTHENED GLASS PIPE, STRENGTHENING METHOD FOR JOINT OF GLASS PIPE AND CONNECTING SYSTEM FOR GLASS PIPE

PURPOSE:To obtain a joint-strengthened glass pipe capable of strengthening a joint part even in the site of piping work at a low cost by providing a thermally-spraying part which can be thermally sprayed and built up to the whole circumference of the outer or inner surface of the joint part of the glass pipe. CONSTITUTION:The joint part 2 of a male type glass pipe 1 wherein antistress thereof is strengthened is heated close to m.p. When heating is completed, fine- powdery resin material such as 'Teflon(R)', nylon and PE is thermally-sprayed on the whole surface of the outer circumference of the joint part 2 by a thermal spraying gun and built up to form a thermally sprayed part 3. Formation of such thermally sprayed part 3 as this can be performed in the sites of manufacture and piping work of the glass pipe 1. The need for special technique is eliminated and antistress of the joint part 2 can be strengthened at a low cost. Further a burr stuck to the end face of a joint part 5 is removed. Furthermore width Lo of the thermally-sprayed part 3 is preferably regulated to at least 0.7 times of outer diameter L1 of the glass pipe 1.
