MANUFACTURE OF AMORPHOUS METALLIC BODY AND AMORPHOUS METALLIC BODY

PURPOSE:To easily manufacture an amorphous metallic body in the shape of a small piece by cutting, blanking, etc., a formed amorphous foil body. CONSTITUTION:The amorphous metallic body 2 in the shape of a small piece is obtained by giving a forming method such as cutting, blanking, etc., to the amorphous foil body 1. For example, the belt-like uncoiled amorphous foil body 1 is cut longitudinally along the lengthwise direction and cut laterally along the width direction to obtain amorphous metallic bodies 2 in the shape of a small piece. Besides, the amorphous metallic bodies 2 in the shape of a small piece are obtained by blanking, too. The amorphous metallic body 2 has various properties based on non-crystalline property and is used extensively for various kinds of uses, for example, when it is used as a brazing filler metal for joining, the joining strength is high and strong joining can be obtained.
