NEW MATERIAL:The title monoclonal antibody capable of specifically binding to the exotoxin A of Pseudomonas aeruginosa, recognizing a part corresponding to the 391-613th of amino acid residue of the exotoxin A of Pseudomonas aeruginosa or a portion thereof as the antigen deciding group, inhibiting ADP ribosyl transferase activity of the exotoxin A of Pseudomonas aeruginosa in vitro, synergistically enhancing a neutralizing activity to the fatal toxicity in vivo of exotoxin A of Pseudomonas by combined use with an anti-exotoxin A antibody of other Pseudomonas aeruginosa. USE:A medicine for Pseudomonas aeruginosa infectious disease. PREPARATION:The objective antibody is purified from culture supernatant of a hybridoma derived from a mouse, etc., sensitized with exotoxin A of Pseudomonas aeruginosa and obtained by immunization, cell fusion, fused cell selection, assay and cloning.
