INTERMEDIATE USEFUL FOR SYNTHESIS OF DELPHINIDIN CHLORIDE

摘要

PURPOSE: To obtain delphinidins by a method wherein a new compd. is transformed to 3,4,5-trihydroxyacetophenone and then, a protecting group is introduced and it is reacted with a specified compd. by using a compd. obtd. with high purity and high yield as a starting material. ;CONSTITUTION: A new compd. of formula IX which is obtd. by reacting a compd. of formula XI (Pg" is a protecting group for OH; Hal is a halogen, especially Cl) with a carboanion source of formula XII (Alk is a lower alkyl) obtd. from a 2-lower alkylmalonate, is hydrolyzed and decarboxylated to transformed it into 3,4,5-trihydroxyacetophenone of formula X and then, the protecting group Pg" is introduced and -COCH₃ is changed to -COCH₃Lg (Lg is a leaving group) to form a compd. of formula VII (Pg=Pg'') and a compd. of formula I such as delphinidin obtd. by reacting this with a compd. of formula VIII (Pg'=Pg'') is hydrolyzed to obtain an objective compd. with pharmacological activity such as anti-inflammatory properties.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO
