PRODUCTION OF RECOMBINANT GENE USING ATTENUATED MAREK'S DISEASE VIRUS VECTOR AND RECOMBINANT OF THE SAME VIRUS

PURPOSE:To obtain a genetically stable biological preparation accompanied with extremely little danger of biohazard because of avirulence by using an attenuated Marek's disease virus genomic DNA as a virus vector. CONSTITUTION:As a genetically stable attenuated virus free from reversion to a virulent strain is used, the abovementioned method facilitates mass- production of a biological preparation safe considering from the viewpoint of biohazard during the production process at a low cost. The abovementioned method also realizes a method for production of a recombinant gene using a virus vector, producing a product safe and effective as an active component of a live vaccine, etc., and having merits such as low cost and reduction of labor in use and practical application of the preparation. The realized achievement is due to excellent usefulness as a virus vector for each of an attenuated Marek's disease virus, HVT, O1 strain and MDV.C2 strain.
