PRODUCTION OF PATTERN PAPER FOR CUTTING COATING MATERIAL OF OBJECT HAVING INTRICATE THREE-DIMENSIONAL SHAPE SUCH AS WOODEN PATTERN OF FOOT OR THE LIKE

PURPOSE:To simplify the process for producing the pattern paper to exactly and easily cut a coating material of an object having intricate three-dimensional shapes by using a shape memory resin sheet. CONSTITUTION:The shape memory resin sheet is softened by heating and is brought into tight contact with the surface of the object having the intricate three-dimensional shapes, such as wooden pattern of foot. The sheet is then cured by cooling and the lines of sketches, style lines, etc., to determine the cutting are drawn on this sheet. The sheet is thereafter removed from the three- dimensional object and is again heated to restore the original plate shape stored by the sheet itself, by which the pattern paper is obtd. The coating material is cut on the basis of the lines drawn on the shape memory resin sheet having the above-mentioned flat plate shape.
