WORKPIECE TRANSFERRING AND REVERSING MECHANISM AND TRANSFER/REVERSAL DETECTING MECHANISM

PURPOSE:To simplify construction by transferring a workpiece transferrversal part without rotation by a pole screw and reversely rotating the transfer-reversal part along with the rotation of the pole screw, in a predetermined position, by engaging respective projections provided on the hole screw and the transfer- reversal part side. CONSTITUTION:A workpiece fed along a transfer path 17 is pinched between a fixed claw 15 and movable claw 16 so that a N letter on the surface is detected by a sensor 19. Then, a transfer-reversal part 4 is moved by a pole screw 2 without being rotated under the requlation of a cam follower 5, plats 8, 10 and upper and lower guides 7,6. A pin 14 projectingly provided on the pole screw 2 and rotated therewith engages a pin 13 of the transfer-reversal part 4 in a reversal position B to reverse the transfer-reversal by an angle of 180 deg.. The completion of the reversal is detected by an approach switch 27 to operate a programmable controller for stopping a motor 1.
