PURPOSE:To rotate smoothly a rotary frame where an excessive load is placed by installing a skyline projecting machine so that its optical axis line is parallel to the horizon and its rotary axis line is perpendicular. CONSTITUTION:A planetarium projecting machine P and plural skyline projecting machines SP are installed on the rotary frame DS, and optical axis lines of the respective projecting machines SP are positioned in parallel to the horizon. A moving type light shield plate 5 is arranged in front of the projection lens L of each skyline projecting machine SP and held in the slide groove of a guide rail 12 so that it is freely elevated and slanted. When a projection image is formed on the front surface of the dome, points A and B of the light shield plate 5 are lowered uniformly below the lens L by levers 7 and 8 which have wires 9 and 10 operated by cams 3 and 4. The points A and B are elevated as the projecting machine SP is rotated around the frame DS to cut off the projection image lower than a parting line.
