Liq. and gas are mixed together by injecting the liq. into a narrow section of a pipe, so as to entrain the gas by ejector effect, mixing them together in the process. The method can be used to mix ice-laden water and air, the air pipe being connected at a point near the narrow section, which is followed by a mixing chamber, into which the mixt. is injected by one or more nozzles.
