ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSUREDisclosed herein are a process for producing a high-molecular-weight or ultra-high-molecular-weight granular PASof an excellent handling property at an inexpensive costwithout using a polymerization aid such as an organic acidsalt, and a high-molecular-weight or ultra-high-molecular-weight granular PAS of an excellent handling propertyproduced by the process thereof. The PAS produced bythe process of the present invention is useful as amaterial for the production of electronic equipments andautomobile parts.
