The stuffed bear has a pair of hollowtubular arms through which the arms of a teacher pass, sothe hands project beyond the front edge surface of eacharm. Each arm is secured by stitching to a side of themain body of the stuffed bear along one-quarter of thecircumferential length of the rear edge surface of thearm, which length is the upper and forward sectionthereof, so that complete articulation of the arm may beachieved to allow for the signs of sign language to beperformed.
