摘要
In vivo mouse model for studying Alzheimer's disease is produced by introducing Trisomy 16 mouse embryonic central nervous system (CNS) tissues to the brain of a live host mouse. The neuropathology in the introduced Trisomy 16 CNS tissues closely parallels that of human Alzheimer's disease, so that the host mouse with such introduced tissues provides a potentially useful living animal model in which to study the development of Alzheimer's disease and in which to test potential preventative or curative treatments.
