The cardboard document holder is made from acid-free cardboard containing excess acid binder and is sealed so that in the closed state there is only minimum air exchange between the interior and the surrounding atmosphere. The cardboard is pref free of cellulose but glued with a neutral glue. The container can be made from several layers of cardboard whose individual layers are glued with an acid-free non- acid-forming adhesive. The excess acid binder can be calcium carbonate. USE - For storing archives without danger of deterioration.
