The pollution measuring system uses washing of the polluted air with water, with the pollutants to the water measured via fluid ion chromatography device. The sampling of the air and the measurement of the pollution level are effected at separate times and at separate points. Pref. the detected pollution level obtained from the ion chromatography is calculated by dividing the detected pollutants by the quantity of air washed by the water.
