The present invention relates to a process for the production of chromium-aluminum balls for adding chromium into molten aluminum baths. Balls essentially consisting of alloy particles having the same melting point and little risk of floating on the surface of the molten aluminum bath, which favors the dissolution of the balls in the latter, are produced.
