Caffeine-free coffee sweets are made using selected amts. of the following ingredients: decaffeinated coffee; sugar/sweeteners; milk prods. including skimmed milk, whole milk, cream and/or milk substances of plant origin; flavourings; and opt. other additives, e.g. spices, chopped almonds, etc.. USE/ADVANTAGE - A wide range of coffee flavoured candies are prepd., e.g. as fillings, whole sweets or coverings. The prods. are similar to the coffee sweets described in DE3821374 but are made with decaffeinated coffee. The sweets are used as a placebo to reduce the consumption of coffee contg. caffeine, and can be made suitable for consumption by children, diabetics, etc..
