The hopper (1) is mounted on a support frame (6) via struts (2,3,4) incorporating elastic inserts (10,11,12) which isolate the supports from the hopper vibrations. The vibrator (16) drives a rod (17) which directly couples to the hopper and loosens any blockages. The feed lines to the hopper are mechanically isolated from the vibrations. The vibrator is mounted alongside a support strut and has a rigid mounting on the support frame. ADVANTAGE - Simple flow control for hopper.
