The pedal actuator contains control levers (5,6) linked to the pedal and supported on the vehicle floor. One control lever is connected to a brake actuation rod (10). The two control levers and their rotation axles (3,4:7,8) form a multi-lik crank rectangle joined to a pedal plate (8) via the axles (7,8) at their free ends. A constant control force on the actuation rod is achieved by applying equal foot force irrespective of the pedal plate position. USE/ADVANTAGE - Pedal actuator is ergonomically improved to enable long-term operation without fatigue, esp. in tank.
