75 ohm reflection factor measurement bridge - with signal divider incorporating specified non-precision resistors, connected to indicator and reference resistor

A 75 Ohm reflection factor measurement bridge contains two 125 Ohm resistors (3, 4) in a signal divider (2) connected to the bridge signal source (Uo,Zo). A 65 Ohm resistor (5) is arranged in the bridge diagonal and connected to an indicator (6) and a 75 Ohm reference resistor (7). An additional matching element between a 50 Ohm signal input and the bridge itself is superfluous in this design. USE/ADVANTAGE - For measuring the complex reflection factors of filters, amplifiers, mixers, antennas, etc. with 75 Ohm inputs. The bridge requires no precision resistors and is relatively simple compared to conventional bridges.
