Liquid filtering appts. cylinders - agitator blades rotate around the cylinders and create cross-flow effect

In a liq. filtering appts., there are several filter cylinders in a container which contains the liq. to be filtered, and the liq. is moved across the surface of the cylinders. At each cylinder at least one agitator blade extends over the length of the cylinder and is driven around the cylinder. ADVANTAGE - The agitator blades create a cross-flow effect which improves the filtering operation, and they prevent a build-up of material on the filter cylinder.
