Within the fixed housing of a filter there are mounted two concentric cylindrical filter elements which are independently rotatable. In the annular space between these is a movable agitator system. Used for the continuous filtration of solid-liquid slurries. Ready sepn. of the cake of solids from the filter elements is obtd., partic. with solids which tend to form an adherent cake on normal types of element.
