The fluid filter (1) has an annular main filter element (4) and an annular coalescer element (3) in filter housing (2) over the main filter element. The main filter element and the coalescer element are provided in radial direction for flow of fluid. The annular main filter element and the annular coalescer element are affixed concentric to each another. An annular gap (8) is formed between the main filter element and the coalescer element.
