Method of deburring welded tube - has burr removed from tube surface and cut intermittently within tube

Short chips are removed by dividing an internal burr transversely and scraping it off the inside surface of the tube using a scraping force vector in the plane spanned by the tube axis and the weld seam. The burr should first be removed continuously and then cut intermittently within the tube. A scraper tool is held behind the weld by a frame. The arm of a guide rod set in front of the weld using follower roller both sides of the scraping point is fitted with a cutting tool (20) which rides in guides (14) forming part of the removable box section support frame (3). Both frame and cutter have chip outlets (16,21,22,23). -
