Clamp for fastening panels face to face - consists of two T=sections with oblique end faces connected by longitudinal bolt

Two panels (1, 2) are clamped together with their side faces (3, 4) abutting against each other by a clamp consisting of two parts (10, 11). Each part has the same T-shaped cross-section. Each part has one oblique end face (14, 15) inclined at 45 deg. One part has a longitudinal plain hole whilst the other part has a longitudinal hole with a screw thread. The panels have slots to receive the webs of the T-section which are inserted from opposite sides of the panels. The two parts are then clamped together longitudinally by the bolt (18) so that their oblique abutting faces cause the flanges of the T-sections to be pressed against the panels.
